NaTasha Thompson

NaTasha believes that every person deserves the opportunity to feel understood, supported, and empowered to create a life that reflects their strengths, values, and hopes for the future.

My Story

NaTasha Thompson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for supporting individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and discover their strengths. With a professional background spanning nearly two decades in human services, social work, education, child welfare, and behavioral health, NaTasha brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to her work.

NaTasha has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, life transitions, family and relationship challenges, school-related stressors, and emotional difficulties. Her professional experience across multiple systems has given her a unique understanding of how life experiences, family dynamics, and environmental stressors can influence emotional well-being.

Her therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each individual’s unique experiences. Drawing from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, solution-focused techniques, and trauma-informed care, NaTasha works alongside clients to identify their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.

NaTasha believes therapy should be a safe, supportive space where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their experiences without judgment. She recognizes that seeking support takes courage and strives to meet each client with compassion, understanding, and authenticity.

Her goal is to help clients navigate difficult seasons, strengthen their emotional well-being, build confidence, and move toward a more fulfilling life. Whether working through a challenging transition, managing anxiety, or rediscovering a sense of self, NaTasha is committed to helping clients recognize that growth is possible and that they do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone.

NaTasha earned her Master of Social Work degree from Fayetteville State University, with a focus on mental health and substance abuse studies, and her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

Outside of her clinical work, NaTasha values personal growth, faith, family, and the importance of maintaining balance and connection in everyday life.
