Your Past Does Not Define You. Your Next Chapter Is Still Being Written

About Me

My name is Keithan James, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCAS-A), and psychotherapist with Metamorphosis Unlimited PLLC. My passion for mental health is rooted in a genuine belief in people, their resilience, and their ability to overcome circumstances that may have once seemed impossible.

As a United States Army veteran, husband, father, and mental health professional, I understand that life does not always follow the path we envisioned. Challenges can test our confidence, affect our relationships, challenge our identity, and sometimes leave us questioning our own potential. Yet, I believe those experiences do not have to become permanent barriers to the future we desire.

I believe that everyone has a story, but no one should feel that their story has already determined how their life will end. Sometimes life presents challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, disconnected, or uncertain about our next steps. However, I also believe that within every individual lies the ability to grow, heal, rediscover their strengths, and create meaningful change.

My Approach to Therapy

My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where you feel heard, respected, supported, and challenged to grow without feeling judged. I take a person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative approach to therapy. Rather than focusing solely on what is going wrong in your life, I believe it is equally important to identify what is going right, recognize the strengths you already possess, and explore opportunities for meaningful change.
